New York (April 03, 2014, 7:35 PM ET) — At least two U.S. attorneys general have launched investigations into a data breach in which hackers accessed Social Security numbers and bank account information through a unit of data provider Experian PLC, according to representatives for the Illinois and Connecticut attorney general offices.
The investigation will look at the breach in which criminals accessed some 200 million Social Security numbers through a unit of Costa Mesa, Calif.-based Experian, according to a Reuters report…
