Press Release: Robert Usinger Joins Kaufman Dolowich as Of Counsel in the Firm’s New York City Office

(January 19, 2016, New York, NY) — Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck LLP (KD), a leading national law firm, today announced that Robert Usinger has joined the firm as Of Counsel in its New York City office.  Usinger has more than a decade of experience in all aspects of insurance and financial services both in the industry and in private practice.

Usinger’s practice will focus on coverage disputes and litigation matters involving professional errors and omissions, directors and officers, representations and warranties, financial services and related FINRA matters, as well as fidelity cases.

Usinger comes to Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck from Everest Specialty Underwriters, LLC (New York, NY), where as a director he managed pending broker-dealer, errors and omissions (professional liability), directors and officers, employment practices liability, and Fidelity Bond claims files, assisted in underwriting securities broker dealer policies as well as drafting of securities broker dealer and D&O insurance policies and endorsements.  He also participated in settlement and mediation of claims.

Usinger earned his B.A. from Adelphi University, his M.A. from State University of New York Albany and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. He is admitted to practice in New York.
